Kathmandu, May 29: Over Rs. 500 billion has been allocated for the provincial and local level governments for the upcoming fiscal year of 2025/2026.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel made this announcement while presenting the annual estimate of revenue and expenditure for the fiscal year of 2025/026 at the joint meeting of the federal parliament today.

The sum includes both the conditional and unconditional grants to the provincial and local levels by the federal government, along with share of economic resources.
