Kathmandu: Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Prakash Jwala, has appealed to the MCC project team to not have any doubts during the implementation of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) project, which has been approved by the federal parliament and government.
During a meeting with MCC Chief Executive Officer Alicia Albright and US Ambassador to Nepal, Randy Berry, who is currently in Nepal, Minister Jwala expressed his commitment to the successful implementation of the project.
“The Government of Nepal and the federal parliament have passed the MCC project, and there should be no doubts during its successful implementation,” said Minister Jwala. “While there may be some issues in the project, they will be resolved as we proceed with the construction at the right time.”
MCC Executive Director Alex Alwalid expressed his happiness to be in Nepal during the implementation phase of the MCC project.
“I am happy to be in Nepal during the implementation phase of the MCC project, and I am also happy with the positive outlook of the Nepali government,” he said.
