Kathmandu, July 23: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government priority is to create employment opportunity for youth within the country.

Responding to the queries raised by the parliamentarian today in the meeing of the House of Representatives PM emphasized for creating opportunity in productive sector to the youths who are returned from foreign employment with capital, possessing skills and experience. 

Responding to the queries of the parliamentarian PM said that the government has declared 2082 B.S to 2092 B.S as a decade for the promotion of internal employment. 

He viewed that employment opportunity will be created in the agriculture, industry, tourism, energy and infrastructure development as the private sector has been increasing investment in these sectors along with the government.  

He said that the government has adopted the policy for restructuring the Prime Minister Employment Programme into National Employment Promotion Programme and making it more skillful and employment opportune.  

PM said, “The government has been conducting the reintegration and industrialization promotion program under REMI in 20 municipalities of Koshi and Madhesh Province targeting youths who have returned from foreign employment. The programmes have been started for startup, development of entrepreneurship through innovative program targeting Zen-G”.
