Ghorahi, Mar 18: A person has been killed when a passengers-carrying jeep met with an accident after being unable to climb a slope near Bhangbari of Dang district.

A total of six people sustained injuries when the jeep with the registration number (Lu 1 Ja 1427) was heading towards Tulsipur from Gangate, of Babai Rural municipality-1.

According to the Spokesperson of the District Police Dang Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Janak Bahadur Malla, a 45-year-old Jit Bahadur Budha from Babai Rural Municipality-1 died in the course of treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur.
