Kathmandu: The Socialist Party Front has decided to hold mass gatherings at the provincial level. The meeting of the front held at the central office of the Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist) on Monday decided to organize the mass gathering in all seven provinces starting from Bhadra 8.
After the meeting, NCP (Unified Socialist) vice chairman Premsh Hamal discussed the effectiveness of the work of the Socialist Party’s front in the meeting of the Socialist front . He also stated that the decision to support the anti-corruption movement had been made.
“The discussions were positive, but the announcement was made in a tumultuous atmosphere. The question was, for how long will we stay outside? What is happening outside?” he said. “We have decided to hold the provincial conventions from the 8th. We have also decided to support the anti-corruption movement of the government.
Following the meeting, NCP (Unified Socialist) leader Pramesh Hamal announced that conventions will be held on the 8th in Madhes Province, 12th in Lumbini’s Butwal, 13th in Far-western’s Dhangadhi, 14th in Karnali’s Surkhet, 15th in Gandaki’s Pokhara, 23rd in Bagmati’s Hetauda, and 25th in Koshi’s Biratnagar. He also informed that discussions were held in the meeting about contemporary politics and the role of the Socialist Front. He mentioned the decision to appoint a coordinator for the provinces in the provincial conventions.
“The Socialist Front has held its third meeting in Kathmandu this morning. There has been a discussion about contemporary politics and the role of the Socialist Party Alliance. Approvals have been given to the decisions made by the Secretariat. It has been decided to make the Socialist Party Alliance effective, develop it as a force, and advance the socialist movement,” he said.
