Kathmandu July 2 : Prime Minister and Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ has stated that the former groups of NCP need to be united. He mentioned this during the 34th Memorial Day program of Narayan Vilas Joshi held in Bhaktapur on Sunday.
Similarly, Madhav Kumar Nepal, the Chairman of the Unified Socialist , also mentioned that he will return to the Nepal Communist Party t and unify the party, as well as initiate the process of uniting the leftists by forming the Socialist Morcha. He mentioned that they have started this initiative to bring unity among the leftists.
“Today, we have once again thought about it. Everyone needs to think about what caused the communist movement to disintegrate. Where were the flaws in our thinking, in our politics, in our conduct and culture? By critically analyzing the seriousness of the issue of our division caused by natural factors, we need to learn from it and move forward,” he said. “Now, Comrade Madhav Kumar Nepal, Comrade Viplav, and Comrade Upendra Yadav have also formed the Socialist Morcha and initiated the process of uniting the leftists. At that time, Madhavji and I have said that we need to return to the NCP. We have also said that we need to unite the party.”
He added that all communists should acknowledge their mistakes and move forward.
