Relief and rescue operations in the flood-affected areas the commitment of the Prime Minister at the war level

Kathmandu, June 19 : Prime Minister Puspakamal Dahal Prachanda has stated that relief and rescue work is being carried out at the war level. On Monday, Prime Minister Dahal arrived in the flood-affected areas by helicopter and mentioned the significant damage caused by the flood and landslides in Sankhuwasabha, Taplejung, and Panchthar, emphasizing that no effort will be spared in the work of rescue and relief.

Prime Minister Prachanda has also mentioned restoring and relocating the affected and displaced by the flood and providing immediate relocation and housing arrangements for the homeless. He stated that immediate suspension bridges will be built on the damaged concrete bridges caused by the flood and efforts will be made to facilitate transportation. The government will bring new programs based on the details of the damage in three districts, according to Prime Minister Dahal.

Due to continuous rainfall this year, the flood and landslides have caused the death of one person in Sankhuwasabha and 21 people have been reported missing. Prime Minister Prachanda has directed all government mechanisms in the district to carry out search and rescue operations for the missing individuals, focusing on relief and rescue efforts.
