Kathmandu, 18 June : The political parties, including the Maoist Center of CPN , Janata Socialist Party, Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist), and CPN led by Netra Bikram Chand, and others, will participate in the announcement of the Socialist Front, which will take place on Monday.

The top leaders of these political parties, who are currently stationed at the residence of the Prime Minister, made the decision to announce the Socialist Front in a meeting held on Sunday morning.

A task force has been formed for the announcement of the Socialist Morcha. According to the task force’s internal work, the announcement of the Socialist Morcha is scheduled for Monday at 3 p.m. Rajendra Shrestha, spokesperson for the group, informed that the socialist front announcement would take place in the National Assembly Hall at 3 p.m. on Monday.

“The preparation for the announcement of the Socialist front, which has been actively engaged in discussions since the beginning, has been completed. We will clarify the organizational structure, policy consensus document, shared minimum programs, and other programs in the program scheduled for tomorrow ” he said. “Preparations are underway to draft the organizational code of conduct and include it in the consensus paper.”

Jagannath Khatiwada, a leader of the Unified Socialist Party, also stated that preparations for the announcement of the Socialist Morcha have been made on Monday.

In the meeting of the task force, which was formed to prepare for the formation of the Socialist Morcha, Dev Gurung, General Secretary of the Maoist Center, Joint General Secretary Janardan Sharma, Rajendra Shrestha of JSP, Pramesh Hamal, Deputy Chairman of the Unified Socialist Party, and representatives of the Khadga Bahadur Vishwakarma from CPN, were present.
