Kathmandu, May 29: The government will provide Rs 5,000 as a Dearness Allowance to government employees from the upcoming fiscal year.
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel made this announcement while presenting the annual estimate of revenue and expenditure for the fiscal year of 2025/026 at the joint meeting of the federal parliament on Thursday.
The government has not made any announcement of salary increase of the employees.
