Kathmandu, March 9: In a meeting of the National Assembly on Sunday, the lawmakers drew the government’s attention to various contemporary issues ranging from the ongoing demonstrations of monarchists to discrimination against Dalits to aviation safety.     

Airing views in a zero hour of the session, Uday Bahadur Bohora expressed his concern over ongoing public demonstrations in various cities in the country including in Kathmandu, ‘posing’ a threat to the republic.     

He also urged the government and political parties to make corrections in their working style, focusing on the elimination of mismanagement, containment of price hikes and the promotion of good governance.
