Makawanpur, Jan 21: Two roads connecting Makawanpur and Kathmandu district, which were closed for road upgrading and maintenance works, have come into operation.

Traffic along Thankot-Chitlang road (Ganeshman road) and Matatirtha road has resumed from this morning, said Deputy Superintendent at the District Police Office, Shyamu Aryal.

Thankot-Chitlang road section was closed from December 22, 2024 and Matatirtha road from January 6, 2025 for upgrading and maintenance task.

Similarly, one-way vehicular movement has been operated along Kulekhani-Phakhel road section and Kulekhani-Sisneri-Dakshinkali road section, added Aryal. (RSS)
