Kathmandu, Jan.17:  Electricity service will be disrupted for more than six hours on Friday in various locations under the Pulchowk Distribution Center in Lalitpur.

Issuing a public notice today, NEA said that the power will be cut from 9:30 AM to 4 PM today in line with changing the electric poles.

According to the authority, electricity will be cut in Mahapal, Patan Durbar, Bagalamukhi, Shankhamul (New Baneshwor),  Patan Dhoka, Mangal Bazar, Chhawal areas served by the Pulchowk Feeder under the Pulchowk Distribution Center.

The NEA has apologized for the inconvenience and has also mentioned that if the work is completed before the scheduled time, the power may be restored earlier than planned.
