BBC, Nov.6: Donald Trump will win the battleground state of North Carolina, CNN projects, boosting his chances of reclaiming the presidency. It’s too early to call the other battleground states — Georgia, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada — as vote counting continues. They are seen as pivotal to Trump’s and Kamala Harris’ paths to victory.

Earlier tonight, CNN projected Harris will win California, which boasts the largest number of electoral votes, while Trump picked up Idaho and other states he won in 2020. Harris and Trump each need at least 270 electoral votes to win the presidency.
