Kathmandu, Oct.27: A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between the Far West University of Nepal and Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) of South Korea to collaborate in educational programs.
Vice Chancellor of Far West University Prof. Dr Hem Raj Panta and President of Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Yang O-bong signed a five-point memorandum of understating (MOU) amid an International Scientific Conference that started in Lalitpur on Friday.
DR Pant said that the MOU was signed between two universities for educational and academic enhancement.
The five-point agreement that is mentioned in the MOU is an exchange of faculty, professors, researchers, exchange of students, educational materials, and information, jointly organizing researchers, and organizing academic meetings and seminars.
President of JBNU Yang O-bong has supervised 21 academics including Vice-Chancellor Pant of Far West University.
JBNU was founded in 1947.
