Hetauda, July 23: NC Parliamentary Party leader in Bagmati Province, Bahadur Singh Lama (Tamang) has staked a claim for the Chief Minister of the province.

The claim was submitted to the Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma on Tuesday with 37 signatures of NC and 27 signatures of UML lawmakers.

Out of 110 members’ Provincial Assembly, one needs to support of 56 lawmakers.

On Sunday, Province Chief Sharma called for the claim by Tuesday 5 PM after the then CM Shalikram Jamkattel resigned from the post.

It has been said that, after 5 PM today, Lama will be appointed as CM of Bagmati province.
