Lord Ganesha art painted on Peepal Tree to attract tourists

Tanahun, June 11: An art of Lord Ganesha has been painted on a Peepal tree in the Akala Mandir located in Ambukhaireni Rural Municipality-1 of Tanahun. 

Ambukhaireni Rural Municipality created the art to promote the touristic and religious area. Shukra Chuman, chairman of the rural municipality, informed that the figure was drawn by painter Pawan Nepali.

Chairman Chuman said, “We have drawn pictures to attract tourists by offering them novelty, and the number of tourists has started to increase.”

Chairman Chuman also mentioned that more and more people are coming to take selfies and make videos with the art on the trees. Chairman Chuman emphasised that the message conveyed by this picture is that you don’t need to spend a lot of money to attract tourists.

Devotees come to this temple with the belief that their dreams will be fulfilled. The rural municipality stated that they planned to create similar artwork on other trees as well, as they have successfully captured the hearts of tourists.
