Narayanghat-Butwal highway resumes after 22 hours

Nawalpur, May 29: The Narayanghat-Butwal road section along East-West highway which was obstructed because of a truck has resumed after 22 hours of obstruction. 

The incessant rainfall has caused the road of Thumsi Gaindakot, Nawalpur washed away causing it to black a road section from 2 PM on Tuesday which then was resumed after 22 hours.  

The road was blocked due to the truck with the registration number (Ba Pra 03-001 Kha 0961) that was  stuck on the side of the road. The negligence of the Narayanghat-Butwal road plan caused the road to be blocked for a long time because of which passengers had to suffer. 

According to the Police, Road Planning issued a public notice saying that the false information that the driver-co-driver and owner of the truck had not come in contact, therefore, the truck could not be removed. 

The planning through social media has requested saying that anyone who has information on a truck, or truck driver to come forward. 

Information Officer of the District Police Office, Nawalpur, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ved Bahadur Paudel said that a special kind of crane is required to pull the truck but the project has failed to bring it aptly. 

DSP Paudel Said that the crane that was procured from Dumki to pull back the truck was stuck in a jam and therefore could not reach on time.

If any problem is observed in the on-site then the construction company needs to ensure to solve the issue but the constructing company has failed to do so.
