Kathmandu, May 24 : The Embassy of Nepal in China marked the 2568th Buddha Jayanti by organizing a programme in Beijing on Thursday.    
More than 120 participants including Ambassadors, diplomats, Chinese nationals from various organizations, members of the Nepali community living in China and representatives from the media attended the event.    

Nepal’s Ambassador to China, Bishnu Pukar Shrestha, extended his greetings on the auspicious occasion and emphasized that Buddha’s eternal teachings will inspire whole of humanity to lead a noble, compassionate, moral and meaningful life; and in combating global challenges faced by the world.
