Tiger and rhino found dead in CNP

Bharatpur, May 7: Tiger and rhino were found dead in Chitwan National Park (CNP) on Tuesday. 

According to the CNP, the tiger was found dead at the Rapti riverbank located at Bhimpurghat, which lies on the eastern side of the national park. The rhinoceros was found dead at Lamichaur of Amaltari.

According to the veterinarian of the CNP Dr Vijay Shrestha, a male rhino was found dead. The further detailed report and cause of death are yet to be ascertained. 

According to Assistant Conservation Officer of CNP Ganesh Tiwari, The team including the veterinary has been deployed at the spot to investigate both cases.
