Kathmandu: The ruling party CPN Unified Socialist has claimed that there is no internal conflict within the party. Refuting the allegation that CPN (Unified Socialist) is also engaged in alternative coalition formation amidst the context of division within the Janata Socialist Party, the party has denied the accusation.
CPN (Unified Socialist) has mentioned its commitment to the current ruling coalition and has come up with a conclusion to resolve issues through internal discussions.
During the parliamentary party meeting held on Monday, Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal informed that although there is dissatisfaction among some members regarding the performance of the government, it was wrong to seek alternative coalitions.
“There hasn’t been any discussion between me, Sher Bahadur Deuba, and Upendra Yadav regarding alternative coalition formation. The uproar about seeking another coalition is wrong,” said Nepal.
He indicated that if there are problems within the ruling Parties, they should be resolved through discussion. “We shouldn’t go for alternative coalitions; rather, we should resolve emerging issues through discussions,” he said.
After the meeting, in a press release issued, the parliamentary party Chief Whip Met Mani Chaudhary mentioned that there are no problems within the parliamentary party. “In the meantime, everyone is requested not to indulge in discussions and misunderstandings and to express commitment to the unity of the party parliamentary party,” he mentioned in the release.
