Kathmandu, Apr. 28: Qatar chapter of Madhesi Ekta Samaj has organised a cultural programme on the occasion of this year’s Judshital and Eid festivals in Doha on Friday.

Finance Minister of Madhes Province Sanjay Kumar Yadav and founder of Madhesi Ekta Samaj Dr. Rabindra Kumar Yadav participated in the function from Nepal and UAE respectively. 

Similarly, hundreds of participants from across Qatar reached Doha to attend the function. On the occasion, they exchanged best wishes and greeted each other. Several artists had performed on cultural songs and dances of Terai-Madhes.

Addressing the function, Madhes Province Finance Minister Yadav, Madheshi Ekta Samaj founder Dr. Yadav, Samaj’s Qatar chapter chair Shiv Kumar Mahato and others have also expressed their views and greetings. They also expressed commitment to the wellbeing of the Samaj’s members. 

At the end of the programme, food items native to Terai-Madhes were served to the attendees, Qatar Chapter Chair Mahato said.
