Nine injured in Pokhara bus accident

Lekhnath, April 11: Nine people were injured when a bus met with an accident on Thursday morning in Pokhara.

The bus carrying passengers with a registration number (GA 2 Kha 1630) heading towards Myagdi from Kathmandu met with an accident at Suikhet, Pokhara Metropolitan city-25. The bus went out of control around 2:45 AM and side-turned in the road. 

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Basanta Kamar Sharma of the District Police Office, Kaski, of the nine injured, six have returned home after treatment, while three are still undergoing treatment. 

The right hand of seven-year-old boy Nischal Pagami broke in the accident. He is receiving treatment at Gandaki Medical College Teaching Hospital and Research Center (GMCTHRC). 

 While 72-year-old Nar Bahadur Pun sustained a critical head injury. He is receiving treatment in the neuro ward of the Center (GMCTHRC) hospital. The condition of another injured is stable.
