Visually impaired, inmate appear in SEE

Inaruwa, Mar 28: More than 13,000 students including four blind students and an inmate appeared on the first day of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) today in Sunsari district.  

13,608 students are from 325 schools – 117 community, 201 institutional and seven religious schools.

According to the Chief of District Education Development and Coordination Unit, Khagendra Subedi, four visually impaired from Purwanchal Gyanchakshu Secondary School, Dharan, and one from Jhumka Regional Prison appeared on the first day of SEE. 

He said that a total of 13,608 examinees from 325 schools,  7,701 students from 117 community schools, 5,743 from 201 private schools and 134 from seven religious schools, appeared in SEE. 

6,970 males and 6,638 females took part in the exams from the district. The first day of the examination concluded in a peaceful environment.
