Need to inspire youth to do something in own country: Chair Oli

Kathmandu, Mar 15: The chairman of the CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli and the former Prime Minister expressed concern over universities getting vacant and not getting enough students.

Addressing the program ‘Cinema Dialogue’ of the 7th Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF) on Friday, Chairman Oli said that the tendency of youths to leave the country for education and work has spiked.

He said that the majority of students who leave the country for higher education have been leaving the country with a mindset of living in foreign countries rather than returning to their birth country.

He said that it is important to explain to the young generation that no country gets rich by having money but after development.

He said that youth must be made to feel and believe that they need to go on endeavours by staying in the country.
