Draft of government’s Minimum Common Programmes prepared

Kathmandu, Mar 15: A draft of the Government’s Minimum Common Programme has been prepared by the task force that was formed to draft the Minimum Common Programmes.

Task force’s coordinator and UML vice chair Bishnu Prasad Paudel said that the task force’s meeting on Friday prepared the draft of the government’s Minimum Common Programmes. The meeting finalized the draft by including the suggestions.

Paudel also informed that the prepared draft is scheduled to be submitted to top leaders on Friday.

He explained that the draft prioritized issues of protection of the constitution, economic development and prosperity, solutions to the challenges of the economy, increasing hope and belief in people, and matters of safeguarding national sovereignty and independence among others. 

“Five political parties participating in the government had the responsibility to prepare a minimum common programme. So, we were in discussions to prepare a draft of the programme. A draft of the minimum common program has been prepared.” task force coordinator Paudel said.
