Kathmandu, Mar 4: Chairman of the CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli has said that change is necessary for the development and prosperity of the nation.

Addressing the 77th anniversary of the General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT), Chairman Oli said that change is necessary in the country to end the status quo and to start progress. The change in the scenario of the country is heading swiftly.

Chairman Oli said, “Moving from the state of disorder, now we are somewhat moving towards change positivity, but we will not leave the ‘Mission – 2084’. We will continue our national campaign of development of nation and prosperity, by being elected as the national power in the upcoming election and by developing it as a decisive force,”

He stressed that employment should be increased by modernizing agriculture and by extensively developing industrial areas. 

He directed the cadres and employees of GEFONT, to work for the labour and people of lower-level strata and the society as a whole.
