Kathmandu, March 1: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that partnership between goverment and private sector is essential for promotion of tourism.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Visit Bharatpur Year(VBY) 2024, held at the Narayani River beach in Bharatpur, President Deuba said that building partnership is essential for the promotion of tourism.

President Duba said that coordination of the concern authorities of the federation, province and local level is imperative as the foundation of Nepalese economy based on the pillars economic model. 

He said the impact caused on the economy due to Covid-19 will be compensated by the expansion of tourism sector. 

Deuba said “VBY will promote tourism across national and international levels which will ultimately help economic growth”.

President Deuba said added that Bharatpur is fully furnished with tourism infrastructure hence it is the main toursism destination of the country. (RSS)
