Kathmandu: The Israel-Hamas conflict has opened the Rafah border crossing for the first time, allowing trucks to enter Gaza from Egypt. This comes after 15 days of ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, and it has also initiated the process of providing essential goods to the Palestinian people.
According to The Times of Israel, after the Rafah border crossing was opened, around 200 trucks, carrying approximately 3,000 tons of goods, have entered Gaza. During this period, foreign nationals have been expected to leave Gaza and travel to Egypt.
During this time, Israel has urged its citizens living in Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco to leave these countries as soon as possible. Israeli citizens have also been advised not to visit these nations.
Israel’s national security agency has expressed concerns that people in these countries may pose a threat to Israelis due to their anger over the conflict.
On the other hand, Israel has ordered the evacuation of Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza City.
According to Al Jazeera’s report, there are over a thousand people in the hospital and surrounding areas. However, the hospital administration has rejected the request to evacuate.
Approximately 12,000 people who have been displaced due to Israeli attacks are currently staying in this area.
