Six Nepalgunj residents passed away in a car accident in India

Nepalgunj: Six people from two families in Nepalgunj, Banke, lost their lives on Saturday in a car accident in the Shravasti district of Uttar Pradesh, India.

The accident occurred in Tribhuvan Chowk, and the victims include Baibhav Gupta, his wife Deepika Gupta, their 5-year-old daughter Baibhavi Gupta, and their 9-month-old daughter Shreya Gupta.

In a separate incident at the same location, Nillansh Gupta and his sister Neeti Gupta also lost their lives. They were the children of Santosh Kumar Gupta, a conductor with S. Kumar Bus Service at Tribhuvan Chowk. Santosh Kumar Gupta’s wife Sita was also in the car and lost her life. She was returning home to Balarampur after visiting her parents.

The six deceased were all relatives. The tragic loss of two families has plunged Nepalgunj Bazaar into mourning. Vaibhav Gupta’s car met with the accident while returning with his wife from India, where she had been staying.

According to the information provided by the survivors, the accident occurred when the car went out of control while trying to avoid hitting an animal and crashed into a tree.
