Kathmandu July 23 : Five members of the ruling party Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre), have departed for a week long trip to India. The group is led by Pamper Bhusal vice-chairman of the party, and comprises former ministers Rameshwar Ray Yadav, Satya Pahadi, and Suresh Rai in addition to Secretary Chakrapani Khanal.
The Indian ruling party The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), invited them to embark on this adventure. They have a full schedule of engagements throughout their stay in India, including the ‘Know to the BJP’ programme and other political gatherings.
Speaking to media persons at Tribhuvan International Airport before leaving for Delhi, Vice President Bhusal informed that the visit will focus on strengthening the relationship between the two parties. ‘Mainly it is to strengthen the relationship between the BJP and our party’, she said, ‘We have a harmonious relationship everywhere. It is a fraternal relationship with the Chinese Communist Party and a friendly relationship with the BJP.’
The visit coincides with the BJP’s 42nd founding anniversary, where J.P. Nadda, the party’s president, is hosting an event.
