Kathmandu, July 19 : Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda is scheduled to visit Italy. Today, the cabinet meeting approved Prime Minister Prachanda’s visit.

After the meeting, the government spokesperson Rekha Sharma informed that Prime Minister Prachanda will lead a delegation to the ‘United Nations Food System 2023 Stocking Moment,’ which is going to be held at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in Italy. The moment will take place from July 24th to 26th in Rome.

The UN Food Systems Summit +2 Stocktaking Moment will take place in Rome, Italy from 24 – 26 July 2023, at the premises of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). It will be hosted by Italy, in collaboration with the Rome-based UN Agencies (FAO, IFAD, WFP), the UN Food Systems Coordination Hub and the wider UN system.

The delegation will include Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister Veduram Bhusal and other officials, including the Minister of Communication and Information Technology.

Prime Minister Prachanda is scheduled to depart for Italy on the 6th of Shrawan and return after one week.
