
Kathmandu July 14 : US Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu has reached Baluwatar to meet Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda, to discuss the issues related to South and Central Asia.In Prime Minister residence Baluwatar,the US Secretary of State paid tribute to Sita Dahal and giving condolences.
American Deputy Secretary of State Donald Lu, who oversees South and Central Asia affairs, met with Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda in Baluwatar. Lu arrived in Kathmandu on Friday afternoon to meet the Prime Minister.
Lu offered condolences to the late Prime Minister’s wife, Sita Dahal, by presenting a picture. He arrived in Kathmandu on Friday morning for a one-day visit to Nepal, along with the implementation of MCC (Millennium Challenge Corporation) projects.
Prior to this, he had held discussions with the President of the Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba, the Foreign Minister NP Saud, and the Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party(UML) KP Sharma Oli.
The main focus of their dialogue was the implementation of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) project, along with other issues.
