
, Kathmandu, Jan 17: Kathmandu. Apart from JSP, the power partner parties have finalized the names of the ministers and submitted them to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachand. Newly appointed ministers will be sworn in at Rashtrapati Bhavan Sheetal Niwas on the same day.
Among the power partner parties, UML has got maximum 8 ministries while Maoist has got 4. Raswapa and RPPA got three ministries, while Jaspa disagreed with 2 ministries.
Janmat Party got a ministry. RSVP and RPP also got a state minister each.
Names and ministries for the members of the Council of Ministers from the CPN (Maoist Center) have been finalized.
According to Surya Kiran Sharma, Prime Minister’s press coordinator, Rekha Sharma has been named for Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Sudan Kiranti for Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and Aman Lal Modi for Federal Affairs and General Administration.
Similarly, Sushila Sripali has been picked for the state minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
A meeting of the ruling parties had on Monday finalised the seat sharing among the ruling partners in the Cabinet.
CPN (Maoist Center)’s senior vice Chairperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha has already had the portfolio of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport while the party’s Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is the Prime Minister.
